A few words about me
At first glance, my career path may seem eclectic.
I spent many years in the corporate world, moving into the charity and non-profit sector to work in recruitment and coaching. Initially managing the Temporary Desk, I moved departments to work with executive level candidates and organisations recruiting C-level positions. I retrained whilst in this role to become a British Sign Language Interpreter, working with the Deaf Community and professionals in many different environments, including the NHS, DWP, education, social services, and therapeutic services.
I always knew that I wanted to study again and did so in 2021 to obtain my MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology. Whilst initially considering changing lanes again to become a psychotherapist, I realised that coaching was a much better fit for me and went on to gain my coaching diploma and EMCC accreditation.
When you look beneath the job titles, the common theme is connection with people. It’s this that really motivates and moves me. It comes from working with and supporting others from all different walks of life and with different aspirations, as we all move through the hectic pace of life, trying to make sense and order of it. It never gets boring and continues to fascinate, challenge and surprise me all these years later. My own life hasn’t been without its challenges, as is the case for most of us, but it has been the sense of connection and network around me that has sustained and navigated me through them.
How can I help you?
My psychosynthesis journey has been life changing for me. Not because it has changed my history, or who I am, but because it has allowed me to really understand myself. It has given me access to understanding why I am the way I am, and respect and recognition of the people, experiences and events that have shaped me. Most importantly it has given me space to explore these things and notice what’s important for me, what gives me meaning and a sense of purpose in what I am doing.
Through individual coaching I can offer you a safe space for inquiry and process to allow you to ask the questions you need to ask and to find ways to understand yourself and your dilemmas and connect and act on what it is important to you. I will help you listen to the ever-insistent inner voice that refuses to be quietened; find ways to motivate and deal with the sense that you’re not quite where you want to be; find understanding of your feelings of stuckness or frustration and help you to move in the direction that you want to go.
